Moczydlowsky Commits to Vikings |

The Lake Erie Vikings have received a committment from 4th round pick Jon Moczydlowsky, previously of the Missoula Maulers Jr. A organization. Moczydlowsky (pronounced Muzz-el-louw-ski) was in Chagrin Falls this weekend to look at the facilities and negotiate a contract. "Jon is a tremendous two-way center. He's spent time with the Maulers on their special teams unit in addition to playing the point on the powerplay. Being able to play where he is asked is a tremendous asset to our organization. His on ice talent is exactly what this league is all about. He has the opportunity here to advance and get called up to a higher level of hockey," General Manager Dave Hahn said. |

The Lake Erie Vikings are pleased to announce the addition of Rob Mulick as a coaching consultant. Mulick will join the Vikings staff and will focus on player development and will assist with on ice activities as the teams tryout camp draws near. "We are thrilled to add such a character guy like Rob. During his playing career, Rob was a solid defenseman with great positioning and fundamental play," General Manager Dave Hahn said. "Rob has played with the Cleveland Barons previously, has knowledge of the area, and can help us with many front office ventures." |

Lake Erie Vikings Announce Tryouts |

 The Lake Erie Vikings of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League invite you to an open tryout! Attend the most unique experience in professional hockey! General Manager Dave Hahn announced today that each player will be given an individual skills evaluation directly at the camp. "Very few professional hockey teams will provide feedback on specific players abilities. We are going to provide a personalized experience for each and every player," Hahn said.
Select players will earn an invitation to the Vikings main training camp in late October. The camp will be held Friday, September 26th. Cost of the camp is $150 and that will cover icetime, jerseys, and two meals. In addition, the Vikings have partnered with the Baymont Inn in Mayfield Heights, OH to host out of town players at a discounted rate. |

Vikings add 4 at MAHL rookie draft |

The Vikings recently returned from the MAHL Inaugural Rookie Draft that was held in Chelsea, MI. Lake Erie Vikings announce Ice Girls as in-game entertainment |

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH – The Lake Erie Vikings of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League announced today they have agreed to terms with Lisa Janatovich to lead the Vikings’ Ice Girls as in-game entertainment for the 2008-2009 Vikings’ season. Lisa Janatovich has more than 20 years of experience in professional sports and most recently was the Dance Team Director for the Youngstown Steelhounds of the Central Hockey League. In 2006, Janatovich’s dance team took third place in the Central Hockey League's "Best of the Best" 2006. |
